Our DynaRig concept, is proven to be the most efficient, safe, high-performance sailing system for large vessels, operable by a single person from a control panel.
We’re undergoing cutting-edge research, and working closely with other leaders in the industry to understand how we can utilise our expertise and facilities from the Dynarig concept within the commercial shipping space.
The DynaRig concept has proven itself as an effective alternative to conventional rigs for superyacht owners who are looking to reduce crew numbers and optimize sailing time and efficiency. To date, the DynaRig system has been installed on two superyachts, the Maltese Falcon and Black Pearl. It is now being developed by North Windships for the commercial shipping market.
Black Pearl
Built by Oceanco and launched in 2016, Black Pearl's revolutionary design features a number of ground-breaking features. The yacht's 2,900 square metres of sails can be set at the push of a button in just 7 minutes.
Maltese Falcon
Built by Perini Navi and delivered in 2006, Maltese Falcon was an ambitious undertaking that proved, for the first time, that the DynaRig concept could be highly effective in practice.
